also happy for Petr Yan back on track.
he lost the fight by DQ against Sterling, later was robbed against Sugar.
The only person he can't beat is Merab, but I'd like to see him against Sugar or Cory again

Gamrot lost a round against RDA and he still talks about Islam, the only thing he can win if he fights against Islam's left leg

It's funny watching people in comments all over the internet rewriting MVP's career. Apparently him beating Holland proves he did not face a bunch of cans during his Bellator run.

Personally I think it would be more convincing if some of said cans came to the UFC and kicked ass to disprove that notion. But who am I to argue the point?

FIGHTS TO MAKE AFTER 299 (MAIN CARD)
O'Malley vs. Merab
- too soon to move up, Merab deserves it
Vera vs. Yan

DP vs. Gamrot
BSD vs. Dariush/Hangman

MVP vs. Wonderboy
- they just need to
Holland vs. Rinat/Luque/Neal/Magny
- or anyone honestly

JDM vs. Usman
- Burns victory moves him at #4, If the upcoming fights I mention happen, JDM vs. Usman makes perfect sense, there's not much else to fight. Belal vs. Edwards, Shavkat next up for a shot. Ian vs. Covington. It only leaves Usman.
Burns vs. Brady
- common sense

Yan vs. Vera
- as mentioned before
Yadong vs. Winner of Figgy vs. Garbrandt

To think about it. Does Yan & Sandhagen 2 make sense? Winner of that vs. Winner of Suga vs. Merab. There's no one for Sandhagen to fight. He's just stuck in the rankings. No way they'll make him wait it all out. Yan won convincingly in first fight but due to the current circumstances that happend in bantamweight division the rematch makes sense. On paper Yan lost 3 fights recently (doesn't matter if y'all want to disprove any of those results). Cory bounced back and won his last 3. To make them wait in a straight line would be stupid.

I was there with my pops. It was insanity. Great memories I won't forget. Highly recommend all fans go in-person at least once, it's so different than watching the broadcast.

I like your list except the last match up.

Jailton Almeida should get cut from UFC 👍

I actually think Jailton will work on his striking now for the unlearned he has always struggled with taking shots.
Odd he used to be listed as a "BOXER" though he is actually a BJJ prodigy or was, clearly now a good wrestler too.
