Gooden Vs Jousset
Jousset, TKO, Round 3
Gooden has good power and he's explosive. I am very high on Jousset, he's got very good and clean striking, and his chin is good as of now. The thing about him is that he doesn't move his head for **** when he strikes, that thing is just a board, which does make me a little worried since Gooden has got good pop in his hands, however, he just lacks a lot to make me think twice about my pick. I can see Gooden having a close-round one by just throwing big right hooks at Jousset and eating his jabs but eventually, in round 3, he'll have taken too much damage that he'll crouch into a ball and get TKO'd.

Hadley vs Johnson
Johnson, Dec
Hadley has good wrestling and good BJJ. Charles Johnson showed us the "Inner G" in his last fight with the khazzy. His striking is actually pretty good and he cuts corners decently as well. He's a big Flyweight at 5'9 and fighting Hadley, who's 5'7 (not that height makes a big difference). Hadley is good, but that last fight with Durden, made me switch my pick. Durden is not a bad loss but it's how Hadley did in that fight. He didn't think of stuffing any takedowns whatsoever. I feel this fight will be a pitter-pat match, where Johnson jabs and crosses Hadley while on the back foot, I see Hadley trying to run after Johnson and missing opportunities because he isn't the smartest man in the cage. I'm not confident in Johnson though, he might show up the same man who fought the khazzy or the same one who fought Ode.

Waters vs Goff
Waters, DEC
Goff is a fun fighter who likes to take damage and give damage. Waters is a damn behemoth, at 6'5, and has a 77' inch reach at WELTERWEIGHT! Waters is a point fighter, meaning he stays outside and jabs, crosses, and throws kicks at you. He's not all that entertaining to watch but he's technical. Goff is like welterweight Drew Dober, he relies on his chin and pushes forward. He's got damn good power but he takes damage, and it's usually straight down the middle type of shots. It's not smart to do against a point fighter with a 77-inch reach. There's a slight chance that Goff breaks Waters from coming forward and eating shots but I doubt it. I see Waters taking every opportunity to jab and damage Goff while on the back. I want Goff to win though

McKinney vs Ribovics
McKinney, KO, Round 1
Ribovics is a decent fighter. McKenney is the most dangerous man during the first 50 seconds of round 1. Unfortunately, he gasses out quickly but idk why everyone is so high on Ribovics. Ribovics has good striking, yes, but he's not a man to punch you only 3 times to knock you out. He also tends to lose the first round. Not to mention, he also lost to Loik, which isn't the best look. McKinney has power and good BJJ, everyone seems to forget that. He's only lost to Drew Dober, Gabriel Bonfim, and Nazim in the lightweight division, which isn't bad. I see Ribovics trying to take things slowly but McKinney catches him while Ribovics throws a lazy jab.

I don't get the Buckley hate, guy is a helluva athlete and pretty funny too, sure he was chinned at 185 but who hasn't been.

All but 2 of Ruz's losses are from fighting in the 170 division and against absolute trash cans of guys. I think Buckley could win if he survives rd 1.

Why is everyone so high on JJ? Curious. Both fighters are kinda garbage… but she’s a far slower striker. 🤔

Hooper vs. Borshchev
Viacheslav Borshchev, TKO, R2
Very volatile fight here. Each with only 1 true skill they use effectively. I’ve landed on Borchev because I just see it playing out to how the Garcia fight did. Hooper is too skinny for my liking at 145 and despite his terrible grappling defenses i think Slava is big enough to defend a couple takedowns. If this fight goes anywhere near the ground tho it’s chases world

Does anyone know where I could watch Despaignes fight vs. Mulumba (his debut), can't find it anywhere. I'm interested to see how he looks like when the fight extends longer than the first few seconds.

Just another day watching tape. Apparently one of Charles Oliveria's coaches is named Marlon Brito Dos Santos. I often get this sense that Brazilians use a random name generator with a small pool of possible names. That's why they all need to adopt artistic names in sport.

I train at Martinez MMA and I’m letting u all know Ruziboev will make weight. He’s already on point and it will be handled. Maybe I’m a little biased but I don’t see him losing here. Should be a good fight though.
